Default How to parse X12 EDI



Before BTS2006 R2 released, what software everybody here used to parse X12
EDI file? and how difficult it is to used Base EDI Adapter to handle this?

Depends on the messages you wish to parse.
The Base EDI adapter only supports a subset of available messages

Otherwise you will need the Covast EDI Accelerator

Hi,

Yes, you can create a new EDI schema, which can be added to BizTalk
2006.

However, this is not an easy task. We use a product called SpecBuilder
from Edifecs to create XSD schemas that conform to the format required
by BizTalk.
