IE launch automatically

Everytime I started my comp, IE will launch automatically. How can I disable
the auto launch function?
I check under Start > Programs > Startup but the IE icon was no where to be
found.

Try looking in the following registry keys for a value that points to
iexplore.exe

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Both of these locations contain values for items that load on startup.
