I have recently upgraded to Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR-1 to
enable me to synchronize with my Ipaq. The new version
came with my Ipaq.
I am trying to import Tasks from Microsoft Excel, which I
have done in a previous version without any problems.

I get the following messages:

Microsoft Outlook cannot start the Import/Export engine.
This feature is not currently installed. Would you like to
install it now?
****

So I select YES.

Then I get:

Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product
Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR-1. The Windows installer cannot
continue.
****

So I select OK.

Then:

****
Microsoft Outlook cannot start the Import/Export engine.
Microsoft Outlook cannot the necessary files due to
Windows installer error 1603.
ERROR_INSTALL_FEATURE
****

Does anybody know how to resolve this, so that I can
simply import Excel data?
