Internet probs

Thanks Taff..The component in the install/uninstall went straight after the downloads , but the URL stayed..Eventually after doing the Shredder part again and then doing spybot, followed by adaware it went ..Would there be a reason the first download didnt work for the URL..I did the direct download program from the shredder site as i thought that might help..Final question..Does the file i download from the shredder site sit in my harddrive somewhere?

Shredder should remove the home page hijack, so I don't know why it
took 2 runs to clear, and yes, the program is on your hard drive somewhere. Taff...........
