Start here: http://aumha.org/win4/a/kernel32.htm

If you don't find an error in the early sections, don't miss the additional
links at the bottom.

You'll also find a few specific references here:

I often get the following error message

Iexplore has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL. Iexplore will now close

If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer

At this point, the pop-up window containing the error message will not close and I am forced to restart the computer. Sometimes I can restart from the Start menu and sometimes I have to crash the system because the whole thing freezes up. How can I avoid this situation? Please advise...
