Default LCS for Online Help Desk



Is it possible to use Live Communication Serverfor online Help Desk kind of
application.

Users should be able to click a "help me" button on a web site and he should
be connected to the next available customer service representative and be
able to do a live chat (or instant messaging). I also need the facility to
create different queues so that users are connected to the customer service
reps depending on the part of the site they clicked the "help me" button from.

It will be nice if user does not have to install Windows messenger or MSN
messenger and the chat can be done through a web browser (IE will do just
fine).

Any help or pointers in this direction will be highly appreciated.

Hello Harsh,


I'm sure such a scenario is possible using Office
Live Communications Server. But I'm not aware of
any application/solution available on the market.

You've have to do it at your own.

You may also take a look at the solutions directory for
3rd party solutions:
