Default Link in email notification takes you to a blank page in the Web Console

I have a client that is having a strange problem with their email
notifications.

Email notifications themselves are working just fine. They get email
notifications for alerts that they're supposed to get notifications
on. No problems there.

The problem is the link inside the notification. As you know, the
email notifications contain a hyperlink that is supposed to pull up
the actual alert inside the Web Console. Instead, if you click the
hyperlink in the email notification, it takes you to a blank page in
the web console.

Well, not totally blank. All of the panes draw. I get the title bar on
top with the MOM logo, the vertical pane on the left with the
"Alerts", "Computers", and "Events" links, and I see the outline of
the 2 horizontal panes: The top one that normally contains the list of
alerts, and the bottom one that normally contains the alert details.
It's those 2 panes that are blank; the rest of the page looks correct.

I want to stress something: The blank page problem in the Web Console
ONLY exists when I click on a link inside of an email notification.
Normal operations of the Web Console work just fine.

Also - this problem is happening for every MOM administrator. Normal
operations of the Web Console work just fine for every admin; however,
when any of the admins click on an alert hyperlink inside of an email
notification, they get a blank page in the Web Console.

It's as if the actual URL that is being sent inside of the email
notifications is wrong.

Anyone seen anything like this?

Jason

Good Morning,
Can you provide an example of the link that you receive in the email?
You can, of course, obfuscate any sensitive information, e.g. server name.
If we can see the link, we might be able to see what's wrong.
Also, what rule is generating the response? Is it a custom rule or a
rule from a specific product management pack, e.g. SQL MP?
