Usually when you mirror drives you need to have two drives of the same type
and size, and a RAID controller usually helps. Is your mirroring done on the
hardware level (RAID Card) or at the software level? If it is at the
software level, the software may just want the target drive to be larger
than the source drive.

Logan, the 1st scsi drive got 2 partitions (2gb and 6gb) , 2nd ide
drive got 2 partitions each with 10gb. It is a software level in disk
admin. i just discovered that my scsi disk got 2 primary partitions. I
thought only mirroring primary/boot partition need the same type of
drive only ? what if mirroring the logical drive ?

Daniel
