MOM and Vmware

I'm new to this group and my company is considering using MOM for our
Windows/Exchange environment. What I'm wondering is if it's possible to
install MOM and run it using VMs?

I believe there is a data collector and then that sends all the data to
another machine where you actually view the data collected, is that right?
Could I run both of those on VM?
