Default Moving rule groups

Is it possible to move a rule group to a different path after it is created?

Thanks

Not that I know of, and if there is a way, I doubt it is supported. MS may
reply with the official answer..

Default Moving rule groups

Good Morning,
There is no official, supported way of moving an entire rule group.
However, individual rules can be copied from one rule group to another.
Unfortunately, we don't have a method for bulk copy, rules must be copied
and pasted one at a time. I know, this is tedious and it will be addressed
in the next version of MOM. I hope this helps.

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing. Much cutting and pasting and renaming
ensued.

BTW I noticed that if you paste an alert rule into the alert rules container
on the "tree view" left window pane it does not change the "only match alerts
generated by rules in the following group" parameter to the new group, but if
you paste it into the "content view" right window pane it does.

Cheers

Adam

Good Morning,
Yes, you've hit upon a known issue. You should check all alert rules
that you paste to verify that the target rule group for matches has changed.
