MSDE

Hi,
I have MSDE 2000 installed on a laptop and I am able to
connect to it by using SQL Sever 2000 client tolls
installed on the same machine but not able to connect from
other machines or from the application that used OLEDB.

Any idea ? help is very much appriciated.

Do you have the tcpip net lib enabled?

yes, I can see TCP/IP protocol in the Network connections.
Does it mean that I have enable any thing ?

Well yes it must be in the ENABLED box of the client and server network
utilities.
