Hi there,
How do I compile my application so that it would appear as a selectable
program in the "Programs" menu.

It will appear there if the CAB file creates a shortcut in \Windows\Start
Menu\ (i.e. in 0,%CE17% because the actual name of the folder can change).

if you are using the emulator, you should place the app in \Windows\Start
Menu\Accessories\ if you want to be able to access it from the Spart menu.
\Windows\Start Menu\ is cached so if you download the app there it won't
appear.
