The following site can serve as your launchpad as you start learning about

I tried looking for help there but I seem to sleep the CMS part, the one that
I am just interested in.

So, to rephrase, i just need some tutorials or info / guide / anything that
will help me create a site from scratch with WSS. I want to use WSS as a CMS.

Thank you and best regards!

Hi,

You most likely want to use Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server or MOSS, not
WSS. MOSS contains CMS functionality, WSS not to my best knowledge.

Sorry,

my bad... I had installed MOSS 2007 (evaluation) and i am unable to publish
any site.. i donno how.

I installed it, configured the server farm, created a new site and when
trying to access the site from another computer it requires username and
password and accesses the administration panel, not the final site.. the one
i wanna generate.

Can you help please?

Thanks!
