Not able to create a new report using ****ysis in MS CS 2002

Hi,

when i tried to create a new report with SQL as report type and typed the
following sql stmt
"select userid from registereduser" and clicked on next it is giving the
following error
"Error creating report : Permission denied"

Kindly help me out with some suitable suggestion
