Hi,

Can anyone point me to a specification of PMC v1 and v2?

Specifically, what processors, disk and screen sizes are allowed.

There is no public specification for that. Why do you think you need to know
that?

I'm doing some research into the PMP market to try and get a picture
of the major platforms (processor/OS). AFAIK PMC v1 was basically
XScale and WinCE, whereas PMC v2 is Windows Mobile, but seemingly,
a variety of processor options.

I'd just like to know where, if anywhere, someone can tell me what
processors are 'allowed' by PMC v2.

PMC2 is not Windows Mobile it's Windows CE. AFAIK PMC2 is application
layers on top of the OS with additional codecs. Most if not all are using
ARM processors. There is no published list of requirements. Anyone who does
know is subject to NDAs.

The confusing part for most people is that PMCs are part of the Windows
Mobile "family" - marketed as Windows Mobile, on the Windows Mobile Web
site, etc. But not the Windows Mobile UI or apps...
