Hi I am running server 2003 and I also have a xp pc. A
router seperates both of them which is a netgear router.
I am able to go online on both pc but now I was studing
for my MCSE I was trying to make my xp pc join my server
domain. I have active directory installed and I have made
a pc account but no luck. Can some one please help me out
with this problem I shall be very thankful........

Is your XP system Home or Professional? XP Home cannot join a domain.

Hi !

check your dns configuration first !
and make sure your client can see your Domain Controller
in your lan !

I think your DNS not configured properly !

The xp system is pro not home

Can you please guide me how should I configure my dns I
have dns installed after that I didn't do anything to it. I
will be very thankful if you help me out with this
