Problem with MHTML (message/rfc822) format

Hi all

We have an ASP page that returns MHTML by changing the response content type to "message/rfc822" and then writing the MHTML as is to the client

IE 6.0 doesn't support this method starting from some hotfix, but this is not my problem. IE 5.x and pre-hotfix versions of IE 6.0 work with relatively good.

The problems:
1) Sometimes, completely randomly, IE doesn't display images embedded in the MHTML!!!
2) There is another problem that IE can't handle <body background... embedded images

Anyone, PLEASE, any idea??
