Default Project 2003 File not printing correctly

We have a project file that is about 200 columns by about 3 years that we are
trying to fit on a 60" x 125" paper.
The issues are the detail in the gantt chart when print it doesn't show the
bar detail/design or the non work days on the print out. THe print is a
Cannon IPF 9000.
This is the answer Cannon gave us:
MS Project uses the PostScript printer language when printing.
PostScript is a vector-based printer language, whereas the iPF family of
Canon printers use the GARO printing language, which uses raster (as opposed
to vector) data. Sometimes, certain PostScript applications will send data
that the Canon driver cannot process correctly, resulting in image issues
like you're experiencing.

The only thing on found on this site is http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331974
