Default Reporting Services

This probably isn't the right place to post, but its a starting point.
Anybody using the Reporting Services? I am currently using Crystal
Reports/ASP and am having difficulties with different versions of
ActiveX. Was using JavaViewer, but since MS took their Java out of XP
I am forced to look for other solutions. The Sun version of Java for
XP doesn't work very well; its incredibly slow and continues to ask
the same questions: "Do you want to Print this Report?" when I am
running a Crystal Reports applet.

An article in ASP.net PRO indicates I need to setup a subscription for
a report. Can't a user make report selections on the web and run it
on demand?

I would be interested in finding some resources or people who are
actually using this tool, and hearing there impressions.

Thanks for your input

Forwarding to a more appropriate group:
microsoft.public.sqlserver.reportingsvcs

That doesn't do me any good. My ISP doesn't list that newsgroup.

You might try using msnews.microsoft.com instead of your ISP's newserver
then. Or perhaps the web interface at
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/community/newsgroups/dgbrowser/en-us/default.mspx?dg=microsoft.public.sqlserver.reportingsvcs.
Or maybe even ask your ISP to add it? :-) We created that newsgroup on
January 26th and it's already had over 3,500 posts. That's where you're most
likely to get the knowledgeable answers...
