Default Routing metrics

Dusty can you confirm whether Dead Gateway Detection applies to non-default
routes as well as to default routes (i.e. prefix/mask is 0.0.0.0/0)?
tcpip2000.doc always talks in terms of "the default gateway", but I've seen
hints elsewhere that it applies to other routes too.

You answered my other question there, what happens with two otherwise
'equivalent' routes have different metrics, it'd be nice for the other query
to be answered too. Do you know where I can find this in do***entation,
tcpip2000.doc is great but as I've noted it doesn't cover this.

Default Routing metrics

The fail over happens on any set of equal routes ( again only with TCP
connections ).
