| Is it possible to enable the RPC over 80 or 443 with only 1 server or do
you
| need a front end back end server?

Signit,

What you suggest is possible, but for security reasons, you really want
your RPC proxy server in front of all other servers. If an attacker were
successful in getting to your RPC proxy, his attack would go no further .
