What connection type are you using in RUMBA? Most versions of RUMBA can
communicate through the HIS client software to connect with the HIS server.

the Internet. I have no experience with rumba. The connection between us
works fine when using the HIS client. Pointing their rumba at our HIS
failed to connect. Any help is appreciated.

I don't have a copy of Rumba so that is difficult to answer.
If you can tell me what to look for in Rumba, I can pass that on to the end users tech.

Thanks

In RUMBA there is a connection menu, with an option to Configure. Once this
dialog box is up, there is an Installed Interfaces selection box where you
choose the "interface" or connection type you will use to communicate with
the host system. One of the choices should be Microsoft SNA Server. This is
the option you would choose when using SNA Server or Host Integration
Server.
