Though this isn't directly applicable to your question, I wanted to comment
that this isn't a lot of space left. With hard drives at such low prices
these days, you might consider adding a new one, especially if you can find
one under 8 GB in size.


This error message can occur under exactly those cir***stances if the
following registry key has been removed:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\RemoteAccess\Authentica
tion\SMM_Files
