My daughter has these messages. Mico web not much help.
Only new hardware is HP Photo Printer added 2 mo ago. When
she tried to search for it, it isn';t listed anywhere but
works? What happened here. Any advice? Connie

That is a modem file. Are you disconnecting from the Internet, before
she shuts down? I think that would be the first thing to try.

Search "Tapisrv"; Windows 98; Full Text; Exact Phrase; does come up with
a page full. I do not see one specifically to describe your condition.
Much as I'd hate to fool with my own modem, perhaps go do the easy
things some of those articles speak of. Perhaps this one...
