Default Sales for Outlook has no sub folders

I tried to install Sales for Outlook on a PC running Win XP Pro SP2 and
Office 2003. I received the Installation Successful message and rebooted.
However the only folders under Microsoft CRM are Custom Forms, Deleted Items
and Search Folders. I tried the installation twice with the same result.
Microsoft CRM can be accessed from the PC via IE. How can I fix this?
Thank you for your assistance.

There are typically two reasons for this. One is that the profile of the user
needs to be recreated and the other (more likely) is that you need to remove
and re-add the CRM Add-in.dll to Outlook. Here are the steps:
While in Outlook, remove the Microsoft CRM Outlook COM Add-In and then
re-add it back into Outlook. To do this, in Outlook:

1. Go to Tools | Options.

2. Click on the Other tab and click on the Advanced Options button.

3. Click on the COM Add-Ins button.

4. Highlight the Microsoft CRM Add-In (Note the location of the
crmaddin.dll) and then click the remove button.

5. Click OK until back at the Outlook window.

6. Exit Outlook.

7. Launch Outlook and go back to the COM Add-Ins window (steps 1 - 3).

8. Click the Add button and navigate to the location of the crmaddin.dll
file (from Step 4).

9. Click OK to get back to the Outlook Window.

10. Exit Outlook and then go back into Outlook.

Once back in Outlook, use the Outlook Shortcut bar to navigate to the
Microsoft CRM area within Outlook and verify the Folder List was created
correctly.

I have the same problem and have done as described. However the crmaddin.dll
will not load - I can wing it of/mark it but in isn't winged of/marked when I
check again which results in the crm folders tstill not being present. I am
logged on as a local administrator.

try going to the directory where the crmaddin.dll is which is

c:\program files\microsoft crm\client\bin\crmaddin.dll

then do a regsvr32 crmaddin.dll command then re add back into outlook
