screen is flickering

Hi, I have upgraded my winxp, now My screen became fuzzy
and flickers. Its hard to see thing on the screen.
Also, I don't have the monitor hardware under Device
manager...can someone please tell me what the problem
is?? Why is my screen flickering???

When you say " have upgraded my winxp" do you mean you upgraded to XP from a
previous operation system? If so, you probably should check with your video
card manufacturers site for WindowsXP compatible video drivers and do an
update.

Install the video card's latest driver.
What is the make of your monitor.Run the driver of the monitor.
Also change the resolution.
