Default server slowdown

I am running an ASP application on a NT 4.0 server with
service pack 6.0. The server is IBM x225 with Zeon
processor.
At times the application hangs up and we find the
Sqlserver(7.0 with SP4) Agent process stops.
Simultaneously we find that the process inetinfo.exe has
consumed up extrmely high amount of memory and there is
practically no memory left.
only after we shutdown MSDTC & MSSQL server that the
memory gets released and the system comes back to normal
after 5 -10 minutes. Problems happens intermittently. Any
solutions please....
