While I was installing service pack #4.. on a laptop ibm
bios v 3.0 (R01-a3h)... screen froze up and then turned it
off by pushing turn off button..

Now, while it tries to upload windows 2000.. it just keeps
on coming back to the bios screen.. it is on a loop..

Anyone has any ideas on what to do?

I had the same problem with a server. I am now in the
process of reloading and restoring from a backup.
