SPS 2007 - Internal connect, OK/External connect, not-OK!
Ok, so I have a Windows 2003 Ent. R2 server, SQL 2005 Ent, running SPS 2007
and it works fine internally. I can connect to it, create sites and so forth
and even browse and use it internally, but when I come in from the Internet
side I cannot access the sites I have created (or any part of SPS/WSS). I do
get the challenge/response window and I input my domain creds, the browser
sends the creds and then in the IE status bar (lower left corner) it says
(contacting to "Svr" but then it just errors out and IE gives error cannot
display web page). It seems like it may be in the authentication...but not
sure.
Windows 2003 Active Directory
Internal network is natted through a commercial DSL connection with a D-Link
router. Firewall ports are open for HTTP, even tried ANY/ANY, but no luck!
My Exchange 2003 server works fine, and my OWA server works fine (so HTTP is
ok).
Any ideas? Pulling my hair out here.....
