Default SQL error message

Hello all,

In the Operator Console I keep getting the below error message:
The SQL Server management pack script "SQL Server 2000 Block ****ysis" is
unable to successfully connect to the SQL Server instance "MSSQLSERVER". The
error message returned is "Login failed for user '4UCORE\PASSQLTEST$'."

I presume this is something to do with permissions on the SQL server?
Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks
Dave

I would assume that passqltest$ is the account you are
usng for your action account? If so you need to make sure
that user as SQL rights to the server you are montioring.

If the OS is 2000 then you need to ensure the action
account is local admin - assuming you still have builtin
admins in the SQL dba group. With 2003 you can run low-
privileged scenario see link

aintain/sqlservermpguide_3.mspx#EAAA

but you may find it easier to use local admin.
