SQLXML and VB

Hi All,

I have one machine which is install SQL Server 2000 and SQLXML. One machine
is for the VB middle-tier program.
Could I retreive the XML data from SQL Server 2000 through the VB
middle-tier program without install the SQLXML in that machine? I know that
we could retreive the XML data through HTTP, Is there any other approaches
to retreive the data without through HTTP?
