evrytime i open internet explorer 6.0 it opens without a
statusbar. can anyone tell me how to open it with a
statusbar.

Have you tried enabling status bar from View>Status Bar - then restart IE?
IE remembers the last settings for future sessions, so just make sure last
IE window you close has he status bar visible.
