HP pavilion running win98, system had a virus so I
formatted the hard drive and tried to use the restore
disk. Runs so far and stops. Tried booting from 98 boot
disk and install from there. When message shows "Getting
ready to run windows 98 for the first time" the system
just hanf at the dos prompt, with a blinking curser. It
even does it with different hard drives installed.
Any clues??
