There should be a more detailed error at the bottom of the "Page cannot be
displayed" page, most likely with an error code starting with 401 or 403.
What is the exact error? (You may need to go to Tools -> Internet Options
-> Advanced tab -> UNCHECK Show friendly HTTP error messages in Internet
Explorer to see the full error.)

OK, I have more info at the bottom it says:

"Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer"


And here's the interesting point. It only works like this on my XP box. I
can do it from linux, from NT 4.0, etc. and it works fine. On my XP box it
asks for my name/password (which shows it can connect), then tells me it
can't show me the page. It shows all other pages on this web site just
fine.
