Unable to execute Yahoo Messenger

When I downloaded the latest Yahoo Messenger onto my PC, it downloaded fine,
but I can not open it. It says "The entry point set handle context could not
be located in the dynamic link library kernel32.dll" I tries getting help
from the Knowledge base, but it is way over my head...someone help me
please!!!
