I upgraded from ME to 2000 Pro (svc pk 4). Had Adelphia
power link. When I went to use IE it says it can't find
it. I went to uninstall it and reinstall -- and when I go
into Install/Uninstall programs, it says there are no
programs installed. There's "nothing" for me to
uninstall. The cd burner works. Windows notepad works.
Zone alarm is active, however not BlackIce. I tried to
install tools from the cd and it errored out. Should I
try to reinstall 2000 over? Should I try a deltree
first? I know the hardware, but software only some. I
just upgraded my own system to 2000 from 98. All works
fine. But this other system, I don't know that much about
2000 - so not sure what to do.
