With the use of an ISA server internally, the desired
configuration is to have the client authenticate to the
ISA server. This is done using the IE configuration of the
Proxy settings and applied through NT policies.

This is all fine and dandy when you are on the corporate
network. But those users who need to take their notebooks
home and connect to their home highspeed networks with DSL
or ADSL will run into issues with this configuration.

Does anyone have any suggestions to mitigate the impact on
a user?
