Hello Roger,

As I understand your issue, your Internet performance has severly degraded
after a clean install four days ago. Couple of questions for you:

1. Do you have SQL Server installed on the machine? Please check services
and see if there are any services that start with MSSQL. If you do have
SQL Server installed, have you applied Service Pack 3a? If you have not,
please apply the service pack from the following location:

SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3a
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/2000/sp3.asp

NOTE: If you have the SQL Server service running on your machine and it is
from Veritas, please stop and disable the service and contact Veritas for
an update.

2. Do you have ISA installed on the machine, or a hard firewall in your
environment?

3. Have you done a recent scan on your system for a virus? Please visit
one of the following sites to do an online scan of the system:

http://security.symantec.com
