Default VPN: Bad Data message when trying to configure Remote

I tried to establish a VPN to another ISA, but the remote
ISA couldn't read my .vpc file (An error occurred during
reading of the configuration file: Bad Data). I received
the same message when trying to read another .vpc created
by the remote ISA. Tested against two different ISAs, that
later had no problem to establish a VPN to each other. It
seems that the problem is in my installation - as if it
used a different format of .vpc files.
The only obvious difference: operating system. The remote
ISAs are installed on W2000 servers, the my one is on a
W2003 server. I installed on a clean W2003S (not an
upgrade) and implemented ISA sp1, hf174, hf255 and hf277.
Any ideas (than install my ISA from the scratch on a
W2000 :-) are welcome.

Default Bad Data message when trying to configure Remote

Hi Tom,
so it >has< something to do with the operating system.
I installed another ISA for testing: W2000 server
(standard)+ SP3 and ISA + SP1+ hotfixes. Then I created
a .vpc file on my current ISA and tried to apply it on the
test one. It was refused with the message I described in
my previous post. The same rusult with a file created on
the test one and brought to the current ISA.
THEN I upgraded the test machine to W2003 server and
the .vpc was immediately accepted without any complaints
and the VPN was established.
During the OS upgrade, when compatibility was checked, I
received just a warning that the number of RRAS
connections will be limited to 1000 (limit for Standard
edition), nothing more....
Before I posted to this newsgroup I extensively browsed
the Internet for anything related to this problem, without
any result.
I think it is the time to ask the vendor.
