Default Was there a glitch with MSNEWS on 6/29/03?

Hi:

I could see no posts at all with the msnews.microsoft.com server after about
11:30AM ET on June 29th. Anybody else experience this problem?

Posts on 6/30/03 and after for that server came in OK. Another server I use
worked just fine throughout.

From what I understand, the answer is yes. Gives us time to do something
else, as long as the PC isn't broken, right? It seemed that in certain NG's
I showed no new posts from ~7:30 am or thereabouts.

Absolutely. There were a couple of threads about it.
I know for a fact that posts were lost on some servers,
such as msnews.microsoft.com, but not on others.

I posted a reply to a post, and later (stay with me here)
saw someone reply to someone else's reply to my post.
I did not see that initial reply to my post, but I saw
the reply to the reply.

Ohhhh, I give up. I need to go lie down...

I think it was a Terhune, 10-ton post brought it down, Papa.

Me too, but keep in mind that Microsoft has a policy of
"eating their own dog food", meaning they actually install and use
new technologies before unleashing them on a suspecting public.

As they are currently engaged in a number of major revamps,
it wouldn't surprise me to see further short periods of "instability".
