Which Operating System is better for gaming? say both systems are tweaked
and have latest service packs applied and both systems are running a new
computer. Is 2000 less of a memory hog than XP?

My friend is claiming that 2000 is faster than XP for battlefield 1942...

Opinions?

I would recommend XP. My son used W2K when it first came out and has
since switched to XP and never looked back. He buys about every FPS that
comes out. Could some games run faster on W2K - sure that is a possibility,
but I bet not by much and that would be the exception. Try posting on some
of the gaming boards also for opinions. -- Steve

not an operating system suffixed with "Professional."
