Windows XP Tablet PC Edition versjon 5.1 SP and external display

I have tried to connect a Microport Colibri tablet pc to an external
projector, LCD display and now at the latest: a CRT display. No matter which
external display nI connect, the pc does not manage to display the content at
all.
The LCD and CRT display displays OK when the Microport is switched on and
starts up and runs until Windows desktop is displayed, then the message "no
signal" is displayed (i.e. the Windows logo is displayed during Windows
startup).

The Microport Colibri runs Windows XP Tablet PC Edition versjon 5.1 and
Service Pack 2.

I appreciate any ideas or references to other articles etc. to help me
troubleshoot and resolve this issue.
