Well turning off a service will sometimes cause a problem, so maybe you should
turn it back on again. Can you provide a reference about advice that told you to turn off WZC? <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/06/background-information-useful-in.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...useful-in.html Now if you're seeing the connection disrupted every 5 minutes, I'd look at 802.1x authentication. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/11/setting-up-wifi-lan.html#Clients> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/1...n.html#Clients And make very sure that only 1 WiFi client manager is running. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/01/stabilise-your-wifi-use-only-one-wifi.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/0...-one-wifi.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience. My email is AT DOT actual address pchuck mvps org. |
