Default wireless zero config disrupting WiFi connection



hi, my computer uses dlink wireless with 802.11 authentication and such. i
find that my connection is disrupted every 5 minutes. i have been looking on
other forums and sites, and i was told to turn off my wireless zero config.
after doing this, my internet compltetly stopped. can someone help me with my
problem?.. it is QUITE annoying, thanks.

Well turning off a service will sometimes cause a problem, so maybe you should
turn it back on again. Can you provide a reference about advice that told you to turn off WZC?

Now if you're seeing the connection disrupted every 5 minutes, I'd look at 802.1x authentication.

And make very sure that only 1 WiFi client manager is running.

You must use either Wireless Zero Configuration system or D-Link's. Not both.
