Default Xp REinstall

Greetings --

You should first address the hardware problem that caused the
crash in the first place. The specific problem you're experiencing
during installation is most often caused by defective hardware; in
order of likelihood, either RAM, the hard drive, or the motherboard.

Sounds like you're having a hardware issue, try making a flat directory and
using it to install.
