MBSA 1.2 End of life

With the end of life MBSA 1.2 is there any esitmate of a 2.0 MP being
released?
That being said, what is the recommended un-installation procedure for the
1.2 management paclk? Any help will be greatly apreciated.

I was told by someone at MS that "something is in the works", but no official
announcements or recommendations yet.
