Default Admin console computer group issue - Is this a bug?

In the admin console the exchange and the AD servers were the first one to be
setup in MOM since is was the POC.

I was not involved in this first phase but I have found that it appears
someone added the servers individually manually to various computer groups
instead of relying on the formulas. However, instead of adding them into the
group under the "included computers" tab, they added them under the "Included
Subgroups" tab individually, which I would of thought you should not be able
to add individual servers in the subgroup tab. But sure enough it lets you do
that.

Now, all the groups that were done that way, I cannot get the servers
removed from the subgroups tab. I remove them all from the subgroup tabs in
every computer group I find them that way and just leave the group name in
there, but it just keeps populating the subgroup tabs again with all the same
exchange and AD servers.

Further more, after we setup the reporting server, I found that allot of the
reports are only showing up data for those servers in the subgroup tab that
were added individually.

SO my questions are:
1.) Should users be able to add individual servers into the subgroup tad?
Logically I would think this should only allow subgroups to be added since
you have a separate tab for adding individual groups.
2.) If someone does add them into the subgroups tab does this mess-up the
way MOM works? Reports? Tables being made?
3.) If you have both manual servers defined and are using formulas in the
same group, does one take precedence over the other? Does this confuse MOM?
4.) How do I get the manual entries of individual servers in the subgroup
tab out of there? Why does MOM keep putting them back in every time I try to
remove them?
This makes me think there is some table made through this (bug?) that does
not allow you to delete its' entries once it is made.

Need help desperately...thanks

Hi George,
I've tried to do it myself, but am not able to put in the computers in
the subgroup. So it seems there is something very strange going on.

could it be any Discovered Group getting automatically added? Do you
know how they added these computers in the subgroup?

I guess you are correct. I am unable to add servers individually under
subgrups. I looked at the discovered groups and it looks like that is where
theyu may be coming from. BUt why would the discovered groups put indiviual
servers under the subgroups?
