Default running system processes



Is there a way to view running processes for a given server over time? Scom
CPU performance views are showing that one of my servers spikes everyday 4:00
am, now i want to see what is actually kicking off at that time, ideally a
process view or report would show this data.

Sorry to post this in two groups, i just wasn't sure where it fit better...

You can use pslist.exe from
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/PsList.mspx

You can run pslist.exe to see process on the local machine or run pslist.exe
//computername to see them on the remote box.

The best part is that OpsMgr 2007 will let you run this as a response to an
event. There s a great video you can watch about this here:
