Yeah for 1980 standards

There were websites in the 1980s, eh?

That whole site is gonna be replaced here pretty soon though, gonna
have a much more 3D feel to it...with animated ripple effects...still
workin on teh best methodology for that though.

The problem with cutting edge web design is that...well, no one has
ever really done it, so it's hard to find any point of reference. My
current pain in the ass is getting sound triggers to work in FireFox.
For some reason that stupid ****ing moronic browser doesn't support
something as gut wrenchingly standard as the ****in play function.
*rolls eyes*

And so far I haven't been able to find a single working reference
anywhere on the net (outside of creating a Flash app and embedding the
trigger within it). Apparently the makers of FireFox want everyone to
make all their websites in Flash...of course at that point one really
has to stop and ask...what's the point in having a web browser?

Okay apparently you and the rest of the deficients just missed the
****ing war or something, so let me just give you a quick recap.

1. Using an iframe is one of the only ways to vertically center web
content.

2. An alternate method, proposed by Mimic and various others on the
net utilized CSS to vertically center web content.

3. The method using CSS, although clever, is incompatible with Macs
(see the post by Spanky in teh binary Flonk)

4. Therefore the only viable alternative is to use an iframe

5. This makes the website not comply with W3C specs

6. Vertically and horizontally centering the content makes it easier
to view.

There, any more dumb**** questions from the peanut gallery today?

the last bit. It really looks stupid. Perhaps you didn't try viewing
it in different resolutions or with something like Firefox instead of IE? Bet.

Maybe on that old backwater site it might be like that, but only in
off the wall browsers like Firefox and Netscape (at the time I made
that site I only tested it in IE).

You should actually regard it as more like therapy. S/he uses it as a
