I have not noticed any date-sorting problems in any of the 4.x versions of
Pegasus Mail. However, note that the displayed date (and, therefore, the sorting of dates) depends on the message "Date:" header being strictly compliant with RFC 2822, "Internet Message Format." Deviations from the standard are interpreted poorly in PM. Also note that the main menu setting "Folder" | "Apply timezone correction" will affect the sort order; if selected, all dates and times are changed to correspond to your local time zone before sorting. "Folder" | "Sort unread before read" and "Folder" | "Sort in reverse order" will also affect the order. RFC 2822 specifies the required format for the "Date" header: http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2822.txt Messages must conform for PM to sort properly. If you check the "raw view" of some of the out-of-order messages, you may find that the "Date" headers are non-compliant. -- -- Dave Bryan NOTE: Due to unrelenting SPAM, I regret that I have been forced to post with an encoded address.
