On my I-Mate Jam, Windows Media suddenly stopped showing my storage card in
the Library. Thers is only 'My Device'. As if I had no SD.The SD card looks
OK in explorer, and when I doubleclick a soundfile on it, it opens in WM as
usual. I also updated manually the Library, it seems to count the sound files
on the SD, but they don't show up. I can select only 'My Device'

Have you turned the K-Jam off and back on with the card in? Mine's gotten
confused before and that or a soft reset has fixed it.

Doesn't help. I reinserted the card while WM is open, it tells me to scan the
card, and it still dowesn't show up in the library.
I even Hard reset my I-mate (Q-tek)
I guess I'll need to fix something in the registry - but what? Help
please....

If you hard reset, the device should be back to factory fresh. If it isn't
working, 'out-of-the-box', so to speak, I'd suspect the card. Have another
or a card reader for the PC?
